i'm nice, funny, and smart
i'm fun to be around
i'm not the best at what i do
and i feel so trapped
so contained
i just want to brake out of these chains
and let my self out
let me be known
get out into the world
have a chance to shine
i don't want to be rich and famous
but acknowledged
to be recognized
to be a normal human being
to not be judged
i may not be the best person in the world
but i'm the best at being me
so why cant people recognize that
i'm not someone that judges
i'm not a little kid
i'm not normal
i'm also not your average girl
i don't want to let people down
but people always let me down
i just want CHANGE in my life
and i want you to know that
i may not know you but i think that no matter what people say or do
YOU are YOU
and you are a beautiful, amazing person
a person that needs a chance to shine
a chance to show your inner beauty
and i wish all people were equal
i see bullying everyday
YOU CAN HELP
and it's okay to NEED HELP
i was teased on at school when i was younger
what iv'e learned is sticks and stones
iv'e also learned it's okay to just tell a teacher
that you don't feel safe in class
or say "hey, that kid wants to beat my face in"
you can ask your friends to help you with your situation
you can even ask to be moved across the room if you cant leave class
and for the love of me DON'T cut yourself, pleas
i use to cut myself, i know what you may be feeling
i know it feels like you just want to die
to disappear
to fade away in the wind
and you know what
i regret it, all of it
i promos you that it will be okay
maybe not now or tomorrow or even the next day
but in the end it will be okay
so live life to the fullest
just enjoy everything
spin, whistle, jump, pet an animal, say hi to your grandparents, hug your parents and siblings, eat candy, get a bf/gf, look at the clouds, throw a snowball, play at the park, eat icecream, exc.
try to be happy (it cheers up unhappy people too)
put on a smile
and help others
